How to Crochet a Pencil or Hook Case

          Hello everyone. It has been awhile since I wrote a blog about my recent projects. The truth is that I am not really good at writing and I get lazy writing the pattern. As I write this blog today, I thought of writing some of the information that I may have missed when I did a tutorial on this video in which I will add the link below.

This is a free pattern I found on Pinterest. This will be worked in rows for the body of this case. First you will need to work a chain of 35. This is the foundation chain. If you are going to adjust the size, say, you want it longer. Keep in mind the repeating stitches you need. Multiples of 4 + 6. 

If you want to work in rounds, the repeat would be in multiples of 4. 

There will be 3 pieces that you will put together. One done in rows and the other two-circles for each side. 

You can use any yarn of your choice. If you have seen most of my tutorials, they do not have a specific brand of yarn to use for the project. This will give you more freedom on working on with your favorite yarns. Actually even if you follow a certain pattern on other sites, you can use a different yarn of your choice, there will only be a slight difference in sizes. 

I find it satisfying in using my preferred yarn for any projects I want to follow.

 For this project you may use any yarn of your choice. You should make a swatch first to check if the hook you are using is perfect for the yarn.  The Chevron stitch is done in rows of single crochets in  back loop only. It's in multiples of 13. How To Crochet Morrocan Tile Stitch Purse

Materials used: 3.75 mm (No. 5) Crochet Hook 1.75 mm Steel hook Zipper Yarns (Teal and White) You may use any hook and yarn of your choice. This stitch is done in multiples of 3. ROUND 1: Using a steel hook to easily poke through the holes of the zipper, start on the upper ends of the zip with 1 single crochet. You may mark 29 holes in advance along the edges of the zip so that it would be easy to work 1 SC across until you get to the other end for a total of 29 SCs. Once you get to the other end, chain 2. Pivot your work and work 29 single crochets on the opposite side. Don't forget to chain 2 before slip stitching on top of the first single crochet made. ROUND 2: Using a bigger hook 3.75 mm, Chain 1. Work 1 SC on the same stitch. Work 1 single crochet in each stitch around including the chain 2 on each corner. The number of stitches should be 66. Moroccan Tile Stitch Mini-Backpack

Hello everyone. I am Sharon. I am going to share with you one of my creations. This is a Mini-Backpack and worked in Morrocan Tile Stitch. If you have seen most of my projects, I am quite obsessed with this stitch. One reason is because you can use many colors with one main color.  You can use any yarn of your choice. The materials that I have used are:  Baguio Mercerised Cotton Yarn in light Brown  Cannon Crochet Thread size 8  2 mm crochet hook Round 1: Make a magic ring. Chain 1. 6 SCs into the ring. To end the round, slip stitch on top of the first SC made. Round 2: Chain 1. 2 SC into the same stitch. 2 SC into each of the next 5 SCs. Round 3: Chain 1. 1 SC into the same stitch. 2 SC into the next stitch. 2 SC into every 2nd stitch around. To end the round, slip stitch on top of the first SC made.  Round 4: Chain 1. 1 SC into the same stitch. 1 SC into the next. 2 SC into the 3rd stitch. 2 SC into  every 3rd stitch around.
