Plastic Canvas Elegant Bag

I have been taking a vacation lately from cricething and I happen to check what's trending these days and guess what? I have seen some plastic canvas that are being used to make this kind of bag. If you are looking for a project that does not need some Crocheting skills, you can do this.

It's very easy to make. You can do this project with your kids. All you need is a needle and some yarns.. Some hardware locks, chain Straps and some D rings. 

The materials used in this project are not very expensive. It may cost you less that $10 especially if you already have yarns and other materials.

To make this one, you need to weave the yarn using a yarn needle into the squares of the plastic canvas. 

The size of the plastic canvas I used is 50 x 33 cm. I cut out the plastic canvas to have 1 56 x 31 grid and 2 pieces of 16x 6 grid.

 For this project you may use any yarn of your choice. You should make a swatch first to check if the hook you are using is perfect for the yarn.  The Chevron stitch is done in rows of single crochets in  back loop only. It's in multiples of 13. How To Crochet Morrocan Tile Stitch Purse

Materials used: 3.75 mm (No. 5) Crochet Hook 1.75 mm Steel hook Zipper Yarns (Teal and White) You may use any hook and yarn of your choice. This stitch is done in multiples of 3. ROUND 1: Using a steel hook to easily poke through the holes of the zipper, start on the upper ends of the zip with 1 single crochet. You may mark 29 holes in advance along the edges of the zip so that it would be easy to work 1 SC across until you get to the other end for a total of 29 SCs. Once you get to the other end, chain 2. Pivot your work and work 29 single crochets on the opposite side. Don't forget to chain 2 before slip stitching on top of the first single crochet made. ROUND 2: Using a bigger hook 3.75 mm, Chain 1. Work 1 SC on the same stitch. Work 1 single crochet in each stitch around including the chain 2 on each corner. The number of stitches should be 66. Moroccan Tile Stitch Mini-Backpack

Hello everyone. I am Sharon. I am going to share with you one of my creations. This is a Mini-Backpack and worked in Morrocan Tile Stitch. If you have seen most of my projects, I am quite obsessed with this stitch. One reason is because you can use many colors with one main color.  You can use any yarn of your choice. The materials that I have used are:  Baguio Mercerised Cotton Yarn in light Brown  Cannon Crochet Thread size 8  2 mm crochet hook Round 1: Make a magic ring. Chain 1. 6 SCs into the ring. To end the round, slip stitch on top of the first SC made. Round 2: Chain 1. 2 SC into the same stitch. 2 SC into each of the next 5 SCs. Round 3: Chain 1. 1 SC into the same stitch. 2 SC into the next stitch. 2 SC into every 2nd stitch around. To end the round, slip stitch on top of the first SC made.  Round 4: Chain 1. 1 SC into the same stitch. 1 SC into the next. 2 SC into the 3rd stitch. 2 SC into  every 3rd stitch around.
