My Bucket Bag using Morrocan Tile Stitch

Good day, everyone. It has been a long time since I last posted. I am not really that good in writing though. I was actually going to make patterns for most of my video tutorials on my channel. However, I do not have much time to sit down and have it all written down. I really get overwhelmed with very many projects I am planning to make. It's already September and I plan to make some projects for the holiday season like doilies. I have a specific pattern I found online for free. It's a vintage and have done it many times. Maybe I would try to upload a tutorial on it one day. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my subscribers for the support you are all giving. I really appreciate all the feedbacks and hopefully one day I can do giveaways.

I also made another bucket bag previously. This is one of my favorite projects because I used Moroccan Tile Stitch. I like this stitch very much because you can play with many colors. It looks great in bags.

How to Crochet the Chevron Stitch Purse

 For this project you may use any yarn of your choice. You should make a swatch first to check if the hook you are using is perfect for the yarn.  The Chevron stitch is done in rows of single crochets in  back loop only. It's in multiples of 13. Once you have chained 13 many times, then add 2 chains at the end.  Row 1: On the second chain from hook, work 2 SC. 1 SC into each of the next 5 chains. *Skip 2 chains. 1 SC into each of the next 5 chains. 3 SC into the next chain. 1 SC into each of the next 5 chains.* Repeat * until you finish the row. When you reach the last chain, work 2 SC. How To Crochet Morrocan Tile Stitch Purse

Materials used: 3.75 mm (No. 5) Crochet Hook 1.75 mm Steel hook Zipper Yarns (Teal and White) You may use any hook and yarn of your choice. This stitch is done in multiples of 3. ROUND 1: Using a steel hook to easily poke through the holes of the zipper, start on the upper ends of the zip with 1 single crochet. You may mark 29 holes in advance along the edges of the zip so that it would be easy to work 1 SC across until you get to the other end for a total of 29 SCs. Once you get to the other end, chain 2. Pivot your work and work 29 single crochets on the opposite side. Don't forget to chain 2 before slip stitching on top of the first single crochet made. ROUND 2: Using a bigger hook 3.75 mm, Chain 1.
