It's been a challenging journey for me as a Crocheter of almost 6 years. When I first uploaded a video on how to make the Moroccan Tile Stitch Purse, which happened to be the first design I have made.  I remember Ate Remy who is a good friend and my sister-in-law's aunt. She bought many purses using the design I posted on Facebook. It was a Sunday. It was actually a gloomy Sunday for me. I was broke that time and almost giving up on YouTube. I actually uploaded a few tutorials in which I think did not seem to be great if not good. Most of them (the videos)are done without too much effort or should I say I did not have enough experience in editing or marketing.  So Ate Remy ordered about 100 pieces of these purses and then I thought of why not making a tutorial since I will be making them 100 times in different colors..  I was asked to make some more designs and so I did it. Believe or not, I almost thought I wouldn't be able to finish. This is also working but I am ...

How to Crochet a Pencil or Hook Case

Image
Hello everyone. It has been awhile since I wrote a blog about my recent projects. The truth is that I am not really good at writing and I get lazy writing the pattern. As I write this blog today, I thought of writing some of the information that I may have missed when I did a tutorial on this video in which I will add the link below. This is a free pattern I found on Pinterest. This will be worked in rows for the body of this case. First you will need to work a chain of 35. This is the foundation chain. If you are going to adjust the size, say, you want it longer. Keep in mind the repeating stitches you need. Multiples of 4 + 6.  If you want to work in rounds, the repeat would be in multiples of 4.  There will be 3 pieces that you will put together. One done in rows and the other two-circles for each side.  You can use any yarn of your choice. If you have seen most of my tutorials, they do not have a specific brand of yarn to use for the...

How to Crochet Adjustable Ear Loop Facemask

Image
Hello everyone. I have a video tutorial on how I have made these facemasks that have adjustable ear loops. I used a cotton crochet thread using 1.75 mm crochet hook. This is really great to make especially when you don't know the exact size of the person you are making for. This is a free size facemask.  I have made 3 designs on this. The first one is done in SCs so that the strap is thicker then added a sliver beads that have holes. Next is with heart beads and I showed how to crochet hearts. Last but not the least is the one with flowers. Now I have facemask to wear in different occasions.  Here is the link of the video tutorial.  https://youtu.be/JZbbm-fXX9E Don't forget to like, comment and subscribe to my channel for more free patterns:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvQIsXhUy2rm2Nd8HB0f64A

How to Crochet 3D Facemask

Hello everyone. It has been a long time since I have written on this blog. I have made a 3D facemask that is very quick and easy to follow.  Materials:  Cannon, Monaco or Baguio Mercerised Cotton Yarn  Crochet hook size: 1.75 MM crochet hook  I have done this in rows using back loops only.  To start, work a foundation chain of 21 then add  1 more for the turning chain.  Row 1: Starting from the second chain from hook, work a SC. 1 SC into each of the next 14 chains. (15 SC) Row 2 to 3: Chain 1 and turn. 1 SC into the same stitch as chain 1. 1 SC into each of the next 14 SCs. (15 SC)  Row 4 to Row 30: Chain 1 and turn. 1 SC BLO into the same stitch as chain 1. 1 SC into the next 9 SCs in back loops only. Work 2 SC( or increase) into the 11th stitch in the row.  Row 31 to 40: Chain 1 and turn. 1 SC BLO into the same stitch as chain 1. 1 SC BLO into each stitch all through out the row. You can add more rows to make it longer for bigger size. Row...

Thanks to all my subscribers for your continued support. I can’t tell you how much joy I feel because you are helping me provide for my son with sensory processing disorder.    His condition makes it very challenging to do something different everyday because he follows a routine. Any sudden changes of daily routine would result to meltdowns. Going to crowded places could be a scary place for him but then through therapy and prayers, he is slowly improving. Crocheting is my passion and to make an idea, I have to be INSPIRED and be at my best mood. Imagine the effort I need in order to be a cool mom to a kid with a unique mind? Every day I deal with learning more on how to help my son because he only WANTS to be with his mom as in ALL THE TIME. But we know that in reality, we all need to WORK to provide financially.  I am proud to tell you that since last year, I was able to independently make money by just working at home and be able to support my son with his much n...

My Bucket Bag using Morrocan Tile Stitch

Image
Good day, everyone. It has been a long time since I last posted. I am not really that good in writing though. I was actually going to make patterns for most of my video tutorials on my channel. However, I do not have much time to sit down and have it all written down. I really get overwhelmed with very many projects I am planning to make. It's already September and I plan to make some projects for the holiday season like doilies. I have a specific pattern I found online for free. It's a vintage and have done it many times. Maybe I would try to upload a tutorial on it one day. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my subscribers for the support you are all giving. I really appreciate all the feedbacks and hopefully one day I can do giveaways. Anyways, to those who want to get many ideas in making bags and purse, you can visit my channel.  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvQIsXhUy2rm2Nd8HB0f64A I also made another bucket bag previously. This is one of my favorit...
